Background

Located in Yeppoon, near Rockhampton on Queensland's Capricorn Coast, the complex has achieved a neat balance of social, economic and environmental outcomes.

Set on 4600 square metres and aimed primarily at the holiday market, the complex includes four three-bedroom ground floor apartments and 14 two-storey, two-bedroom villas.

Four years in the making, Capricorn Blue is the brainchild of developer Dominic Stower, whose company, Sustainable Synergies, was formed to specialise in providing sustainable housing.

"The major point of difference with other similarly priced developments is its sustainability elements and smart wiring, which not only meets the needs of occupants now, but in the future," he says.
