CBus also operates the multi room audio, which like the lighting, is accessed through an LED (light emitting diode) in the various rooms of the house.
"In the front lounge room there is a port for us to plug our iPod in and play music through there. We have a set of speakers in the alfresco, in the main lounge downstairs, upstairs on the front balcony, and in the master bedroom," says Wriggley.
"You don't have to use the same set of speakers at once; all are independent of each other. By turning over the page on the LED you can access a number of functions like watching Foxtel or a DVD, listening to the iPod or music from a CD."
"The multi room audio really comes into its own when we have parties on our alfresco balcony - it's like our own outdoor night club - the music can get really loud, or at least as loud as our neighbours allow it!"
