Pre-wiring

It's hard to say where you might listen to music, especially if your home has yet to be built. Certainly, the living room, dining room, bathroom and kitchen make sense, but other rooms, such as the master bedroom, the guest rooms and the outside terrace, could also require wiring.

Make sure your installer routes wiring to all the places you may want music in and documents their locations so that adding speakers and a volume control is simple.
